On behalf of her clients, Ms.
Hayes-Raitt has created and
implemented public relations and organizing campaigns for numerous
initiatives, candidates, legislative efforts and special events,
including Gov. Davis' memorial for California's victims of the
September 11th terrorist attacks. She is a nationally recognized
trainer in message development and has appeared on more than 500
radio and television public affairs shows including PBS "News Hour
with Jim Lehrer," CBS "This Morning," CNN "Financial News," and CNN
"Moneyline." She is effective both in making and in shaping the news
and is currently a political analyst for Los Angeles newscasts.
Beginning her career as a door-to-door fundraiser for Ralph
Nader, Ms. Hayes-Raitt has since raised hundreds of thousands of
dollars for campaigns and non-profit groups, including a homeless
shelter and food bank.
Ms. Hayes-Raitt has a reputation for tenacious organizing on
behalf of environmental protection. She is a former board member of
the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters, a former executive
director of the Coalition for Clean Air, a founding member of Heal
the Bay and was Lt. Gov. Leo McCarthy's statewide environmental
field deputy. She has recently been elected as chair of the national
board of the Education for Peace in Iraq Center.
Additionally, she serves as a Commissioner of the Santa Monica
Commission on the Status of Women and the treasurer of the statewide
Assn. of California Commissions for Women. She moderated former
First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton's national town hall
teleconference on "What Every Woman Should Know About Social
Security."

Firefighters, AARP, the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy, the
Natural Resources Defense Council, the Union of Concerned
Scientists, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network and
